Battle Between Egypt Holidays and Caribbean Holidays!

The battle of the titans has ensued with the two top holidays going at it. By quite a long way, holidays to Egypt and the Caribbean are the most sought after and by far the most popular. It may not be fair to compare a whole region to one country, but they are probably not that different in size.
Cuba holidays have really taken off in the last 10 years, boosting the overall tourism industry in the Caribbean to massive amounts. Tourists flock to the Caribbean, mainly for its weather and quite simply it’s very beautiful islands, they are truly stunning. Also these islands vary quite a lot from one to the other. There is much diversity in the Caribbean; the islands are all completely different. The St Lucia Island is ever growing, the lush forests, and the fantastic spa therapies.
It all depends on how capable Egypt is at retaining its tourists, or if they are all getting bored and going to the Caribbean? Well look at it this way, every month around 130,000 people search for Egypt holidays just in the UK. This is a phenomenal number, and although it is less than all of the Caribbean island searches, the number of searches for Egypt outweighs that of any other single country, at the moment.
But, why Egypt??? If you consider what Egypt’s history is, it is home to some of the oldest civilizations in the world. With such a diverse and extensive history dating back over 7000 years and most documented, this makes Egypt very unique. It is not just Egypt’s history is fascinating, activity wise Egypt offers some great diving locations, Spa holidays and archaeological dig sites. It won’t really matter which way you go here, no matter where you turn you will find something interesting. Not to mention that the weather is fantastic, if anything it is hotter than the Caribbean as well.
So there you have it, two of the holiday destination kings.
